The case study in the social sciences has a positive impact on learning, as it helps to analyze real cases, foster critical thinking and apply theoretical concepts in concrete situations. In this context, this pedagogical strategy is highly effective because it strengthens students' understanding and interest in social and political issues, enabling them to become informed and actionable individuals in the social sciences. The case study strategy significantly improved social science learning in the experimental group. Students in the group using the strategy scored higher than those in the control group. The strategy also fostered students' analytical skills, logical thinking, and active participation. With the purpose of determining the effects of the case study strategy on the learning of the subject of Social Sciences in students of the first level of Agronomy Sciences of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon in Iquitos.
