Approximate Analysis of Buffered Multiple‐Access Protocols

Abstract: A method for the approximate performance analysis of random multiple‐access protocols, such as, ALOHA, URN, random TDMA, is presented. This method is an extension of a previously proposed 2‐Markov chain method.
