Appropriateness of Omeprazole Prescribing in Quebec’s Senior Population

Abstract: Although reimbursement for omeprazole prescriptions has not been restricted in Quebec since January 1, 1994, it was prescribed appropriately for elderly patients in the majority of cases studied.
