Appropriateness of frequent use of emergency departments: A retrospective analysis in Rome, Italy

Abstract: BackgroundFrequent users (FUs) are patients who repeatedly and inappropriately visit the emergency department (ED) for low-grade symptoms that could be treated outside the hospital setting.
