Approaches to Software Process Improvement: A State-of-the-Art Review

Abstract

This paper introduces the domain of software process improvement (SPI) by including a review of it as an approach that can improve software quality. In addition, it reviews work that has been carried out in the SPI area, as well as problems that can limit how successful SPI initiatives are in various highlighted companies.
