Abstract:The paca (Cuniculus paca, Linnaeus 1766) is a rodent species, typical of tropical regions, present in much of Brazilian territory and Latin America (Cubas et al., 2014). Feeds on fruit but can consume other vegetables and even insects during periods of food shortages (Dubost & Henry, 2006).
