Abstract:This study draws on uses and gratification theory (UGT) to develop and empirically test a model for explaining enterprise resource planning (ERP) system acceptance and use. Accordingly, gratifications from the UGT such as enjoyment and informativeness are purported to have direct effects on attitudes toward using ERP and satisfaction with ERP.
