Abstract:Significance: Treatment planning for light-based therapies including photodynamic therapy requires tissue optical property knowledge. These are recoverable with spatially-resolved diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), but requires precise source-detector separation (SDS) determination and time-consuming simulations.
