Application of the Veneziano Model topp¯→π+π−

Abstract

The decay ps-' fin-w0 at r e s t i s described in t e r m s of the Veneziano model for four-point functions. The initial state c a r r i e s the quantum numbers of a pion and an w meson, s o that we utilize the Veneziano model for nn-~r w and r w -r w . A fit with the data i s attempted and reasonable agreement with experiment obtained.
