Application of the TaqMan®real-time PCR assay for the detection of chicken (Gallus gallus) meat in pork products

Abstract: Many consumers are increasingly concerned about the meat they eat, and accurate labelling is important due to public health, economic and legal concerns. Meat species adulteration is a common problem in the retail markets.
