Abstract:The quality of an urban space significantly influences the habitability of a city. In an era where buildings are becoming more and more "intelligent", outdoor space needs to evolve to make it more welcoming and to allow it to be shared and appropriate, capable of expanding opportunities and functionality for the inhabitant who lives in it.
