Application of the coordinatewise descent method on a unit interval for weight optimization of structures made of composite materials

Podruzhin Problems of weight optimization of anisotropic structures with restrictions on strength, stability, etc., are solved by the coordinatewise descent method on a unit interval, combined with effective methods of nonlinear programming (dichotomy and golden section methods).
