Application of SSSC for compensation assessment of interconnected Power System

Abstract: Present paper describes the application and study of SSSC (Static Series Synchronous Compensator), a flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) Controller for providing dynamic compensation to an interconnected power system.
