Abstract:Soluble bio-organic substances (SBO) obtained from urban bio-wastes have been investigated as chemical auxiliaries in photochemical processes. For this purpose, photodegradation of the antibiotic sulfadiazine (SDZ) (25 mg L-1) was studied under simulated sunlight.
