The increasing number of vehicles triggers traffic jam which is one of the most important problems that occurs in crowded cities. Signalization timing has a crucial role in controlling traffic flow and decreasing loss of time in city traffic. In order to reduce queue length and vehicle delays in traffic, the estimation of traffic concentration at different signalization timings plays an important role. Traffic simulation tools such as RODEL, SIDRA, and VISSIM are used to understand the behavior of vehicles in traffic. In this study, VISSIM program was used to demonstrate queue lengths, vehicle delays and vehicular emission formations in a roundabout at different signalization timings. The study has been evaluated on a real case study to verify the differences between current and proposed states. A roundabout in Adana (Turkey) was selected which is located at the city center with oversaturated traffic density for a case study. The model indicated that increment of the green time period of the south road from 22 seconds to 28 seconds resulted in improved queue lengths, vehicle delays and emission formations of the vehicles which were around the roundabout.Keywords: Optimization, traffic signalization, VISSIM, emission DÖNER KAVŞAKLARDA FARKLI SİNYALİZASYON ZAMANLAMASINDAKİ TRAFİK YOĞUNLUĞUNUN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI ÖZArtan araç sayısı kalabalık şehirlerde oluşan en önemli problemlerden biri olan trafik sıkışıklığını tetiklemektedir. Sinyalizasyon zamanlaması trafik akış kontrolünde ve şehir trafiğinde kaybedilen zamanın azalmasında çok önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir. Kuyruk uzunluğunu ve trafikteki araç gecikmelerini azaltmak için farklı sinyalizasyon zamanlamalarındaki trafik yoğunluğunun tahmini önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. RODEL, SIDRA ve VISSIM gibi trafik simülasyon programları araçların trafikteki davranışlarını anlamak için kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, VISSIM programı değişik sinyalizasyon zamanlamalarında döner kavşak etrafında oluşan kuyruk uzunluğu, araç gecikmesi ve araç emisyon oluşumunu göstermek için kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, mevcut ve önerilen durum arasındaki farkları doğrulamak için gerçek bir durum çalışması üzerinde değerlendirildi. Durum çalışması için Adana (Türkiye) şehir merkezinde yer alan, aşırı trafik yoğunluğu bulunan bir döner kavşak seçilmiştir. Model, güney yolunun yeşil ışık periyodunun 22 saniyeden 28 saniyeye yükselmesinin, kavşak etrafında yer alan araçların kuyruk uzunluğunu, araçların gecikmesini ve araç emisyon oluşumlarını iyileştirdiğini gösterdi.

Nature is evolving continuously. Humanity seems like is always searching for something new and in a cultural (ex)change. Technology is the preferred instrument for (self-)development processes in human-nature relationship and interactions. In the present era many people (children and grown-ups) are interested in playing and working with smart phones and other technological products which are performing day by day more complex tasks and diverse interactions. As the level of intelligence does increase when it comes to technological products, higher the interest of the customers will be. Today, even computer browsers are learning the searching behaviours of their users. Programming and adjusting the robots and automatic systems to interact in quite complex fashion with the surrounding environment in other to perform different tasks and to interact with intelligent beings is still quite a difficult challenge due to the great amount of data that needs to be considered and processed. In the present paper the authors show a small part of the designing process for a robotic vehicle in virtual reality environment by using Unity 5 application and other engineering tools. Vehicle considered for digitisation is Chevrolet Camaro and the performed tasks should be automated driving in testing scenario. Self-driven cars are a challenging project for all automotive and robotics engineers nowadays. There is a strong competition between the automotive and robotic technicians to develop and test the first autonomous or self-driving vehicle. In the present case the authors bring to the public attention their interdisciplinary effort to research and development of an innovative vehicle, with the purpose of improving road safety and comfort. It is expected that automated vehicles to provide superior and complex experiences during road travel. Art creation and scientific research are furthermore supported by this field of human activity.

A stove is a handy tool for humans. The use of stoves in everyday life brings beneficial and detrimental impacts. A stove is a tool used to help human activities, but the impact of its weakness can cause household accidents caused by the negligence of the community itself. The NodeMCU-based automatic hob was built to address this problem. This stove can set the cooking time and automatically stop working at the specified time. This stove can also turn off automatically if the sensor does not detect the presence of people around to minimize the occurrence of household accidents. This automatic stove is expected to be a technological reformer in household appliances and a solution to reduce the number of accidents caused by stoves.
