Application of ROM-based methods to aeroengines health monitoring, performance, and control

Abstract

If I had to choose only one person to thank for the support received during the preparation of this document, I would be committing a great injustice, since my path has been enlightened by different estimated collaborators. Nevertheless, I truly have a debt of gratitude with:Dr. Luis Sánchez de León, my dear colleague, because without his unwavering support, his natural born intellectual brilliance, and his complete dedication during these past long years of preparation, even under extremely difficult personal circumstances that still impress me, this work would not have been possible.Dr. José Manuel Vega, master, mentor, and top-class researcher, who provided an enormous support, with his expertise, mindset, generosity, and advice during the sometimes difficult, but still rewarding, elaboration of this thesis.
