Abstract:Peroral cholangiopancreatoscopy has a long history of development since 1974. It has been called a mother‐babyscope system or babyscopy. Although peroral approaches to the bilio‐pancreatic diseases have produced some other methods a babyscopy has established its position as a method for digestive endoscopy.
