Abstract:The present study dealt with the application of biodegradable
demulsifier
synthesized based on Helianthus annuus (sunflower oil). The synthesized demulsifier is characterized using
Fourier-transform infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, and thermogravimetric
analysis. The demulsification process was designed, modeled, and optimized
