Annotation. The relationship between craniofacial parameters and features of upper respiratory tract indicators is the subject of research for a wide range of scientists of various directions, which is connected with the multifaceted practical significance of the possible results obtained. One of the most important directions among these studies is the study of the normative indicators of the respiratory tract, depending on various variables, because understanding the values of the norm allows us to judge pathological changes in the future. The purpose of the study is to establish the peculiarities of correlations of cephalometric parameters of the upper respiratory tract in practically healthy Ukrainian young women with an orthognathic bite with a very wide face type. A cephalometric analysis of the upper respiratory tract, soft palate, hyoid bone, and tongue was performed on primary lateral teleroentgenograms of practically healthy young Ukrainian women with a very wide face type with an orthognathic bite. The evaluation of the correlations of these indicators was carried out in the "Statistica 6.0" license package using Spearman's non-parametric statistics. In young women with a very wide face type, the following multiple reliable and medium-strength unreliable correlations were established: direct strong (r= from 0.64 to 0.76) and medium-strength (r= from 0.33 to 0.57) correlations between almost all cephalometric characteristics of the upper respiratory tract itself ways; inverse moderate strength and strong (r= from -0.30 to -0.60), as well as direct moderate strength and strong (r=0.37 and r=0.90) correlations between almost all indicators of the soft palate; direct strong (r=0.74) and medium strength (r=0.51) correlations between almost all tongue indicators; mostly direct, medium strength (r= from 0.30 to 0.45) correlations between the value of the PM-UPW distance and most indicators of the soft palate; mainly strong (r= from 0.33 to 0.72) correlations between the value of the PM-U distance and with all characteristics of the tongue, as well as the average strength, there are inverse (r=-0.33 and r=-0.52) correlations between the value of the NL/PM-U angle and most of the characteristics of the tongue; direct strong and medium strength (r= from 0.46 to 0.67) correlations between the value of the AH-FH and AH-MP distances and most of the characteristics of the tongue. Thus, the most pronounced connections are established between the cephalometric characteristics of the upper respiratory tract itself, between the characteristics of the soft palate, between the characteristics of the tongue, as well as between the cephalometric characteristics of the hyoid bone and the tongue and between the characteristics of the soft palate and the tongue.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global appeal to protect the environment, combat climate change, eradicate poverty, and ensure access to a high quality of life and prosperity for all. The next decade is crucial for determining the planet’s direction in ensuring that populations can adapt to climate change. This study aims to investigate the progress, challenges, opportunities, trends, and prospects of the SDGs through a bibliometric analysis from 2015 to 2022, providing insight into the evolution and maturity of scientific research in the field. The Web of Science core collection citation database was used for the bibliometric analysis, which was conducted using VOSviewer and RStudio. We analyzed 12,176 articles written in English to evaluate the present state of progress, as well as the challenges and opportunities surrounding the SDGs. This study utilized a variety of methods to identify research hotspots, including analysis of keywords, productive researchers, and journals. In addition, we conducted a comprehensive literature review by utilizing the Web of Science database. The results show that 31% of SDG-related research productivity originates from the USA, China, and the UK, with an average citation per article of 15.06. A total of 45,345 authors around the world have contributed to the field of SDGs, and collaboration among authors is also quite high. The core research topics include SDGs, climate change, Agenda 2030, the circular economy, poverty, global health, governance, food security, sub-Saharan Africa, the Millennium Development Goals, universal health coverage, indicators, gender, and inequality. The insights gained from this analysis will be valuable for young researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and public officials as they seek to identify patterns and high-quality articles related to SDGs. By advancing our understanding of the subject, this research has the potential to inform and guide future efforts to promote sustainable development. The findings indicate a concentration of research and development on SDGs in developed countries rather than in developing and underdeveloped countries. Graphical abstract

Objectives: To investigate and quantify forces generated by three-dimensional-printed aligners made of shape memory polymers (four-dimensional [4D] aligner).Methods: Clear X v1.1 material was used in this study. On a custom-made typodont model, correction of maxillary central incisor (tooth 21) malposition by 4D aligners with thicknesses of 0.8 and 1.0 mm was measured by superimposition of subsequent scans. Maximum deflection forces generated by foil sheet specimens were measured at different temperatures in three-point bending (3-PB) tests. In a biomechanical system (orthodontic measurement and simulation system [OMSS]), forces generated on movements of tooth 21 by the 4D aligners were measured at different temperatures.Results: 4D aligners succeeded to achieve a significant tooth movement (2.5 ± 0.5 mm) on the typodont, with insignificant difference between different thicknesses. In the 3-PB test, the maximum deflection forces measured at 20, 30, 37, 45, and 55°C, were 3.8 ± 1.1, 2.5 ± 0.9, 1.7 ± 0.6, 1.0 ± 0.4, and 0.5 ± 0.4 N, respectively. Forces delivered on palatal displacement of tooth 21 at 37, 45, and 55°C by 0.8-mm aligners were 0.3 ± 0.1, 0.2 ± 0.1, and 0.7 ± 0.2 N, respectively, whereas those by 1.0-mm aligners were 0.3 ± 0.1, 0.3 ± 0.1, and 0.6 ± 0.2 N, respectively. A good concordance with movement on the typodont model was shown in OMSS.Conclusion: An initial study of 4D-printed aligner shows its ability to move a tooth by biocompatible orthodontic forces, after a suitable thermal stimulus within the oral temperature range.
