Application of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy for the analysis of pig bones

Abstract: An application of the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy technique (LIBS) for the elemental analysis of pig shoulder bone samples is reported. Measurements were performed using a compact laboratory-made LIBS system based on the TEA CO2 laser and time-integrated signal detection.
