Biometrics is a cutting-edge technology that offers several advantages for access privileges and authorization. This security system has become an integral part of a variety of public and commercial sectors. The importance of growing private data for authentication solutions that increase mobile security is rising. Information security is required to prevent organisations' assets from falling into the hands of rivals, hackers, or cyberterrorists. This study explains how to avoid the biometric methods' concealed dangers. Compared to traditional systems, biometric applications are capable of providing much more identity management and recognition. In truth, the widespread use of biometrics services has substantial consequences for our understanding of the relationship between the person and the state. As with any technology, however, application-specific concerns and limitations must be taken into account. Research in a number of connected fields will lead to continuing progress. In this study, technical and engineering challenges as well as the advantages of contemporary biometric technology are examined.

The evaluation of human environment risk is lacking quantitative data, while the qualitative knowledge cannot be easily quantified and synthesized. Furthermore, sometimes the experts are not well acknowledged with the whole indicator system or cannot reach an agreement on the comments. The conventional evaluation methods are not competent to solve the above aporia effectively. Thus the quantization of the human environment risk becomes a conundrum. The compatibility cloud model theory can set up a conversion model between the qualitative knowledge and quantitative value, which provides technique approaches to evaluating the risk of human environment. However, the hesitant opinion of experts stemming from the missing knowledge of the whole system or the branching opinions cannot be well solved by the traditional compatibility cloud model theory. Therefore, this paper brings in the theory of hesitant fuzzy set, combining with the cloud model theory, to try to construct a hesitant cloud model to achieve the quantitative assessment of human environment risk. And at last an experiment evaluation on the risk of maritime silk road is carried out.

This paper is a continuation of research into the possibility of using fuzzy logic to assess the reliability of a selected airborne system. The research objectives include an analysis of statistical data, a reliability analysis in the classical approach, a reliability analysis in the fuzzy set theory approach, and a comparison of the obtained results. The system selected for the investigation was the aircraft gun system. In the first step, after analysing the statistical (operational) data, reliability was assessed using a classical probabilistic model in which, on the basis of the Weibull distribution fitted to the operational data, the basic reliability characteristics were determined, including the reliability function for the selected aircraft system. The second reliability analysis, in a fuzzy set theory approach, was conducted using a Mamdani Type Fuzzy Logic Controller developed in the Matlab software with the Fuzzy Logic Toolbox package. The controller was designed on the basis of expert knowledge obtained by a survey. Based on the input signals in the form of equipment operation time (number of flying hours), number of shots performed (shots), and the state of equipment corrosion (corrosion), the controller determines the reliability of air armament. The final step was to compare the results obtained from two methods: classical probabilistic model and fuzzy logic. The authors have proved that the reliability model using fuzzy logic can be used to assess the reliability of aircraft airborne systems.
