Application of Fluorescence Material in Anti-Counterfeit Field

Abstract: With the expansion of the security market, the demand of the anti-counterfeiting technology is becoming more and more big, and the requirement of the anti-counterfeiting technology is becoming more and more is also high. In this paper, a simple summary of the application of fluorescent material in the anti-counterfeiting field is finished. And analysis of the current situation and development tendency of fluorescent material at home and abroad is given in this paper.

“…Pigments can also be designed with sustainability in mind with regards to low‐temperature processing in many industries, which can result in substantial savings in energy consumption. Encapsulation techniques that impart an optical effect to pigment have been widely used in textile applications 147,148 5 shows the current applications of encapsulated pigments.…”

“…On the other hand, ink-based solutions are much more flexible in terms of implementation [17,18], but they are easier to imitate [14]. Some researchers propose the use of solutions based on fluorescence materials [19] or random patterns [20], but there is a lack for wider support for these techniques. A wine track and trace solution based on reading individual wine bottle numbers using OCR technique is possible, but the drawback is accuracy of the readings and the use of various fonts and numbering schemes for different types of wines [21].…”

“…The printing of luminescent patterns is considered fairly suitable as the luminescent materials are easily available and require simple manipulation techniques. [15][16][17][18] A number of generations of luminescent material have been developed during the past few decades and accordingly, they evolved with time to offer enhanced and advanced features for their application for protection against the counterfeiting. The luminescent materials, with single emission, were the first in generation lines which were employed for printing security A new strategy for formulating a high-security anti-counterfeiting ink by synthesizing a pigment having both luminescent and magnetic features is demonstrated.…”
