Modyfikacja kompozycji epoksydowo-nowolakowej reaktywnymi kauczukami oraz nape³niaczem wêglowym Streszczenie-Zbadano wp³yw dodatku (ilooeci i rodzaju) kauczuków butadienowo-akrylonitrylowych o ³añcuchach zakoñczonych grupami kwasowymi (CTBN) b¹dŸ epoksydowymi (ETBN) na w³aoeciwooeci mechaniczne oraz morfologiê kompozycji epoksydowej sk³adaj¹cej siê z ma³ocz¹steczkowej ¿ywicy epoksydowej typu eteru diglicydylowego bisfenolu A ("Epikote 827"), nowolaku fenolowo-formaldehydowego (NZ) i 16 % mas. proszkowego nape³niacza organicznego typu wêgla o oerednim stopniu metamorfizmu. W³aoeciwooeci mechaniczne oceniano metod¹ statyczn¹ i dynamiczn¹ (DMTA). Do badania morfologii zastosowano mikroskopiê optyczn¹ i transmisyjn¹ (TEM). Stwierdzono, ¿e obecnooeae wy³¹cznie nape³niacza wêglowego pogarsza wytrzyma³ooeae mechaniczn¹ i udarnooeae kompozycji, natomiast wprowadzenie do niej uk³adu nape³niacz wêglowy/kauczuk niweluje to niekorzystne oddzia³ywanie. Ustalono, ¿e na w³aoeciwooeci mechaniczne du¿y wp³yw wywiera morfologia i separacja faz. Optymalna ilooeae kauczuku (CTBN lub ETBN) wprowadzanego do kompozycji z nape³niaczem wêglowym b¹dŸ bez nape³niacza wynosi 6 % mas., albowiem taka ilooeae kauczuku nie powoduje jeszcze obni¿enia Tg kompozycji. S³owa kluczowe: ¿ywice epoksydowe, modyfikacja, reaktywne kauczuki, nape³niacz wêglowy, separacja faz, w³aoeciwooeci mechaniczne, morfologia. MODIFICATION OF EPOXY-NOVOLAK COMPOSITIONS WITH REACTIVE RUBBERS AND COAL AS A FILLER Summary-The effects of types and amounts of the additives: butadiene-acrylonitrile rubbers, with carboxyl or epoxy groups as chain ends (CTBN and ETBN, respectively), on mechanical properties and morphology of epoxy composition consisting of low molecular weight epoxy resin, type Bisphenol A diglycidyl ether ("Epikote 827"), phenol-formaldehyde novolak (NZ) and up to 16 wt. % of coal showing medium metamorphism degree as a filler, were investigated. Mechanical properties were evaluated using static (Table 1) and dynamic methods (DMTA, Fig. 1-6). Optical microscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) methods were used to study the morphology of the products. DMTA analyses results showed the effects of CTBN and ETBN on storage modulus (E') in the whole range of measurement temperature (from room temperature up to 250 o C). The effect of rubber addition on glass transition temperature (Tg, evaluated as maximum tg δ) of tested cured compositions is marginal. It was found that the addition of only coal filler deteriorated mechanical strength and impact strength of the composition while introduction of a system: coal filler/rubber did not cause that adverse effect. It was also found that morphology and phase separation influenced the mechanical properties significantly (Fig. 7-10...
