Abstract:In this paper, the feasibility of electrocoagulation technique for the adsorption of Styrene acrylate SA from aqueous solution has been studied. The results showed that SA and COD removal were (99.2% and 95.9 %), (99.4% and 97.1%) and (99 % and 93.1 %) by using iron Fe, stainless steel S-S and aluminum Al electrodes at 8 min respectively. The adsorption equilibrium were analyzed by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. It was found that the data fitted to Freundlich (R² = 0.944) better than Langmuir (R² = 0… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
