Application of Edible Canna Residue in the Papermaking

Abstract

In this paper, the components of edible canna residue and the refining conditions were studied. The refined edible canna residue mixed up corrugating medium was processed to corrugated base paper. The results show that the strength properties of corrugated base paper are optimal when the refining clearance is 2.4mm and the time is 4min. The corrugated base paper strength is best at the edible canna residue dosage 30%.
