Application of continuous system simulation languages to chemical systems

Abstract: The use of an analog computer in solving and analyzing chemical problems was very successfully demonstrated and discussed in this Journal by Osborn (1), and Corrin (2), and Tabbutt (3). Without lessening in any sense the great value of the analog computer in problem solving as described in those papers, this paper will demonstrate that the use of digital simulation languages is even more powerful in solving such problems.
