Application of cone-beam computed tomography in ENT and reconstructive surgery of head and neck – literature review and own experience

Abstract: Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a relatively new diagnostic imaging method. It was first used in 1982 at the Mayo Clinic Biodynamics Research Laboratory [1], and since 2001 is commercially used in dentistry.
