Appendicolithiasis versus urolithiasis

Abstract: An unusual clinical presentation of appendicitis with violent colicky pain as seen classically in urolithiasis is here presented. The pathophysiology of colic and the differential diagnosis of appendicolithiasis is briefly discussed.
