Appendicitis: In the Times of COVID-19

Abstract: Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) is a novel contagious infection initially thought to be a respiratory pathogen, but there is increasing evidence of multisystem involvement. Here, we report a 43-year-old male who presented with acute abdominal pain associated with fever and chills and was diagnosed with acute appendicitis.
