“…Tyrosinuria in pregnancy has been reported by Lawrie (5). Because pregnancy often produces clinical remissions in rheumatoid arthritis, and because it has been reported that remissions produced with adrenocorticotrophic hormone and 17-hydroxy-11-dehydrocorticosterone result in increased excretion of histidine (6) and other amino acids (7), it was thought worthwhile to investigate the aminoaciduria of pregnancy.
