Abstract: Reproductive aging in female rats is associated with a transition from regular estrous cyclicity to an anovulatory condition described as persistent estrous (PE). En nuestro estudio en ratas Sprague Dawley encontramos que había una disminución en la cantidad de folículos maduros con la edad, siendo significativamente menor la cantidad de folículos maduros por sección encontrados en ratas seniles comparada con los encontrados en ratas jóvenes.…”
