Apoptosis Induction by Curcumin in Human Myelogenous Leukemia Cell Lines

Abstract: Background: Curcumin, a naturally occurring biologically active compound extracted from rhizomes of Curcuma species, has been shown to possess potent anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and anti-oxidative properties.
