Apophysomyces Necrotizing Infection in an Immunocompetent Child

Abstract: Background: Mucormycoses are uncommon fungal infections with high morbidity and mortality rates. Apophysomyces spp are a known but rare pathogen. Successful treatment necessitates early diagnosis, surgical debridement, and systemic antifungal treatment.
