Aplikasi Ujian Online Untuk Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Dengan Menggunakan Metode Rational Unified Process (RUP)

Abstract

Ujian selama ini digunakan oleh sekolah untuk mendapatkan penilaian terhadap siswa, sering menimbulkan berbagai macam permasalahan yang setiap tahun terus berulang, seperti adanya kecurangan yang dilakukan antar siswa dengan cara saling bertukar jawaban pada saat ujian, hal itu terjadi karena cara pengisian jawaban relatif tidak berubah dari tahun ke tahun, sehingga memudahkan siswa saling bertukar jawaban dengan berbagai macam cara. Permasalahan berikutnya adalah terjadinya kebocoran soal ujian sebelum pelaksanaan ujian dimulai, kebocoran tersebut bisa berasal dari oknum tenaga pengajar ataupun dari tempat percetakan dimana lembar soal dicetak. Dan juga tingginya biaya dan hambatan penyaluran dokumen fisik (kertas soal ujian dan kertas lembar jawab). Dengan kondisi seperti ini maka perlu adanya perbaikan dalam meningkatkan efektifitas terhadap proses ujian sekolah tersebut dengan menggantinya ke ujian yang berbasis web atau ujian online. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan Aplikasi Ujian Online berbasis website adalah metode RUP (Rational Unified Process) yang dimana merupakan suatumetode rekayasa perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan dengan mengumpulan berbagai best practices yang terdapat dalam industri pengembangan perangkat lunak. Dengan adanya Sistem Ujian online yang terhubung melalui jaringan internet, diharapkan solusi ini menjadi pilihan terbaik untuk menekan berbagai persolan dan hambatan dari pelaksanaan ujian manual.
