Abstract: IntroductionInflammatory bowel disease-associated colorectal cancers (IBD-CRCs) occur infrequently but are associated with a higher mortality than sporadic CRCs. The poorly defined genetic and molecular pathogenesis of IBD-CRCs limits our ability to develop effective prevention, detection and treatment strategies.
