Abstract: A growing body of evidence suggests that adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in the healthcare system. Fifteen to twenty-five percent of patients with epilepsy discontinued antiseizure drugs (ASDs) within 6 months of therapy owing to intolerable adverse drug reactions.
