Antioxidant potentials of aqueous and acetone ips extracts of gracilaria crassa

Abstract: Abstract:With the increasing demand of functional foods with antioxidant properties it is necessary to establish new sources such as macro algae which could provide beneficial effects to human health. The present study was evaluated for antioxidant potentials of Gracilaria crassa. Results revealed that Gracilaria crassa significantly recorded the highest IC50 value in acetone than aqueous extracts.
