Antioxidant activity of blood plasma in Altai aborigines

Abstract

Because little is known about the dependence of the antioxidant activity (AOA) of the body on the environment and type of diet, the AOA of blood plasma in low hill and middle hill Altai aborigines has been evaluated. It has been found that the AOA of blood plasma is more dependent on age and less dependent on the environment, sex, and type of diet.
