(x) , with composition 0.1  x  0.5 (in mol %) were studied. The structural changes due to the replacement of Sb 2 O 3 by WO 3 have been investigated. It was found that the incorporation of WO 3 enhances the thermal stability of the glasses against devitrification when compared to the binary Sb 2 O 3(0.6) -SbPO 4(0.4) composition. The connectivity of the network increases with WO 3 content which is consistent with the high values of the glass transition temperature. Raman studies suggest that WO 3 incorporation breaks the primary network, constituted by antimony oxide, while a second network containing WO 6 octahedral units is built up. Thermal and structural properties were evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry, infrared and Raman spectroscopies, 31 P Magic Angle Spinning NMR and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) at L 1 and L 3 edges of Sb and L 1 edge of W atoms.

Nonlinear optical properties and optical limiting behavior of antimony and lead oxyhalide glasses were studied using laser pulses of 80 ps at 532 nm. The standard Z-scan technique was used to determine large nonlinear absorption coefficients which range from 11 to 20 cm/GW, using intensities of 100 MW/cm2. Photodarkening was observed when intensities larger than ≈200 MW/cm2 were incident on the samples.

Comprehensive Summary Since the concept of 2D inorganic molecular crystals (2DIMCs) was introduced, intensive attentions have been gradually devoted to this field. Herein, the very recent advances in growth, properties, and applications of 2D inorganic molecular crystals are comprehensively reviewed. Firstly, the newly emerged 2DIMCs are classified into three categories. Then the two typical production methods are present, thus leading to discrepancy in size, distribution, morphology and structures of 2DIMCs. Moreover, the unique physicochemical properties of 2DIMCs are demonstrated on the basis of the as‐obtained 2DIMCs, the various applications are exhibited, demonstrating significant potential in related fields. Finally, the perspective and prospects are outlooked to offer insights in further development of 2DIMCs.
