Abstract

This article presents a concise overview on the chemistry of organoantimony compounds containing one or more Sb–C bonds. It deals with homoleptic molecules where Sb is bonded exclusively to organic groups R, for example tri‐ or pentorganyls of antimony, and with heteroleptic derivatives where R n Sb groups ( n = 1, 2, 4) are bonded to other elements. Not only compounds with single bonds between Sb and C but also molecules with double bond character are considered.
