Abstract: Horse-antidog antilymphocyte immunoglobulin-G (ALIg-G) was prepared by precipitation with 2-ethoxy-6,9-diamino-acridine lactate (Rivanola). Twenty dogs received azathioprine in a small daily dose after allogenic renal transplantation. ALIg-G treatment was started as soon as a rejection crisis was suspected. Ten dogs receiving no other immunosuppressive therapy were given ALIg-G from the 4th day after allogenic renal transplantation.
