Antigen-specific helper T cells recognize determinants encoded in the H-2D region of the H-2 gene complex

Abstract: Observations have frequently been interpreted as showing that the helper T cells which collaborate with alloantigen-specific cytotoxic T-cell precursors can only recognize antigens encoded in the I region of the H-2 gene complex. An experimental system is described here that allows analysis of the recognition repertoire of these helper cells.
