Antifungal Resistance in Dermatophytes: Genetic Considerations, Clinical Presentations and Alternative Therapies

Abstract: Numerous reports describe the emergence of resistance in dermatophytes, especially in T. rubrum and T. mentagrophytes/indotineae strains. We here present a review of the current status of resistance in dermatophytes worldwide.
