Abstract:Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia diagnosed in clinical practice and is often treated with pulmonary vein isolation (PVI). This procedure has both high bleeding and thromboembolic risk; therefore well evidenced anticoagulation protocols are important.
