Anticoagulation Contributes to Antimicrobial Treatment of Lemierre Syndrome: A Case Report

Abstract: Background: Lemierre syndrome (LS) is characterized by multisystemic infection beginning in the oropharynx, thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein and thrombotic extension to the periphery.
