Anticipation of ventricular tachyarrhythmias by a novel mathematical method: Further insights towards an early warning system in implantable cardioverter defibrillators

Abstract: Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) are the most effective therapy to terminate malignant ventricular arrhythmias (VA) and therefore to prevent sudden cardiac death.
