Abstract:Medical students at Sahlgrenska Academy receive Hepatatis B surface antigen (HBsAg) vaccination prior to their studies in infectious medicine. Peripheral blood samples are collected prior to and post‐vaccination for detection of antibodies developed for core and surface antigen. A small population never develop the required anti‐HBsAg titers required for a full protection despite multiple vaccination doses.
