Antibodies against dextransucrase from Streptococcus mutans display anti-biofilm and growth suppressing activities

Abstract: Dextransucrase produced by Streptococcus mutans play an essential role in the formation of dental caries by synthesizing exopolysaccharides from sucrose, an important metabolite of the organism.
