Abstract: ObjectiveGenetic and environmental factors influence pathogenesis and rising incidence of paediatric inflammatory bowel disease (PIBD). The aim was to meta‐analyse evidence of diet and environmental factors in PIBD.MethodsA systematic search was conducted to identify diet and environmental factors with comparable risk outcome measures and had been reported in two or more PIBD studies for inclusion in meta‐analyses.
