Abstract:In this study, the phytochemical composition of Asparagus racemosus was investigated both qualitatively and quantitatively. Aqueous, ethanolic, and hexane extracts of Asparagus racemosus were tested for antibacterial activity against a variety of bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella typhi, and Enterobacter aerogenes and were found to be effective at concentrations ranging from 400 µg to 500 µg.
